One should not be obsessed about the Koi being always hungry and to feed them every time a Koi opens his mouth. Another important aspect to think about is the fact that your pond is located outside; hence, there are other things that will contribute to your pond being dirty. Regularly skimming your pond for dirt and unwanted matter will keep your Koi healthy and stress free. Fish that are always stressed are more likely to get sick as opposed to fish that are not stressed and live in clean water. By keeping your Koi pond properly maintained and the water clean at all times, you will be rewarded with happy and healthy Koi who will bring you and your family many hours of pleasure.
