Whey protein has been incorporated in the diet of man several decades ago. These products also regulate blood lipid levels and metabolism in general. Whey protein also aids in tissue regeneration and rapid wound healing.

Proper nutrition, lifestyle modification, avoidance of vices like smoking and excessive alcohol intake and proper stress management contribute to a healthier and more disease resistant body. Whey protein supplements help in achieving proper nutrition. Although it always appropriate to keep in mind that even a good thing, when taken in excess, is potentially harmful.
